It's sad that none of these "hits" below will last.

In 1960 Percy Faith brought out an orchestral hit version of the theme
song from the movie - A Summer Place.

It was the hit of the year in Melbourne, and is still loved today.

Will anyone love these 10 hits below in 50 years time?

I don't think so ...

Pity!

It's a Canadian Chart, Canada not normally thought of as leading the World
in Contemporary Music culture even though they have had some big home grown
hits filter through to International success.

As a Contemporary overview I think current music is just as relevant as the
50/60/70 especially the 80's etc, Taylor Swift is a massive star in the US,
Katy Perry is a huge international success, they love Michael Buble, I think
Kings of Leon are equal to any of the 70's Bands and Pocket Rocket Pink is
certainly not going to disappear with her current hit, "Raise Your Glass"
one of her best yet.

From Australia Keith Urban has a massive following in the US, ignored by
stupid Australian Commercial Radio and Troy Casser Daley as a home grown
fully fledged performing Australian Artist has a fabulous new live Double
Album also completely ignored by commercial radio.

I think I know were the problem is and it's not with the standard of music
being produced today, it's our idiot cloned mindsets overlayed with a
conservative 50 to 80% left wing consumer tunnel vision, taught and
perpetrated by social fucking engineering school teachers, uni lecturers,
government dept's, half the political culture reported fed and lead by the
ABC, a superb example of were our heads are at.

We have awesome human capital and our cities and suburbs are vacant
performance arenas, mainly through our horrible ignorance.

Freedom is not ours, de-regulation for this interest group of
RadioBroadcasting, Television and on a broader scale free enterprise
ventures, need to happen, released from the shackles of moron local, state
and federal regulations.

The infuence and corruption of high value top heavy Corporations certainly
is not helping, the other lead weight at the opposite end of the see-saw.

Yeah, that's Cee Lo Green, top stuff actually, great soaring
production and very uplifting - Bright Lights Big City is my fave,
just love it.

I like Goldfrapp too.
